The incident occurred in the 65th minute of the match in Odense on Sunday when Eriksen suddenly fell to the ground after appearing to clutch his chest. Medical personnel rushed onto the field as players from both teams formed a protective circle around him while treatment was administered.
According to the Danish Football Federation, the 34-year-old quickly regained consciousness and was able to walk to the ambulance before being transported to hospital for further examination. Team doctor Morten Boesen later confirmed that Eriksen was conscious, stable and responding well under the circumstances.

The device monitors heart rhythm and can deliver life-saving treatment when necessary. Reports indicate the device functioned as intended during Sunday's incident, helping to stabilize the player.
Denmark captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and national team coach Brian Riemer praised the swift response of medical teams and thanked supporters for their concern and respect during the emergency.
In a positive update, Danish officials said Eriksen was in good spirits and expected to be discharged from hospital after undergoing precautionary tests. The midfielder, who currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg, reportedly sent greetings to teammates and family members while recovering.
