Lagos Seeks Improved Service Delivery After Hospital Assessment

The Lagos State Government has called for improved service delivery across its public hospitals following an assessment of healthcare facilities in the state.
The assessment, according to the state government, was aimed at identifying areas requiring improvement and ensuring that residents receive quality and efficient healthcare services.
Officials said the exercise focused on the condition of facilities, availability of essential equipment and the quality of services provided to patients.
The government stressed the need for healthcare workers and hospital administrators to maintain high professional standards, improve patient experience and ensure that available resources are effectively utilised.
It also emphasised the importance of addressing identified gaps to strengthen the state’s healthcare system and improve access to quality medical care.
